We want to warmly welcome the next set of musicians storming their way through the cannabis industry. Alt-Metal band Deftones have seen a fantastic past week. The band is fresh off receiving many well-deserved 2022 Grammy nominations, and they recently announced their newest and most exciting endeavor to date. 

As of yesterday, Deftones announced they will be releasing a new cannabis collection. The renowned 5-piece band is already firmly locked into both the craft beer and tequila markets, but now they’re excited to bring a new venture to the masses with their new line of cannabis products. 

In partnership with California and Colorado-based cannabis company Golden Barn, Deftones will now be releasing a collection of products in what’s called the ‘Passenger Box.’ The box will feature an assortment of potent gummies, concentrates, disposable vapes, and premium quality ‘Passenger’ flower.

Taking the announcement to Instagram last week, Deftones revealed their new cannabis collection line and noted how important the line is to the band. “Throughout our career, it has been an ongoing mission to provide our fans with quality products,” they wrote in the caption.

The band continues that whether they’re getting into the music, beer, or tequila industry, they’ve put their “time, care, and effort” into ensuring that the band provides quality merchandise to the cannabis market that’s often thoroughly scrutinized.

Many were guessing that Deftones’ next step would be a cannabis-related venture, and they were right on that one. In another caption on Instagram, showcasing the ‘Passenger Box,’ the band noted that “In the foreseeable future, we will be rolling out several different products in this vertical via @GoldenBarnco2.”

The ‘Passenger Box’ will be available in nine locations around California, and more boxes will be distributed throughout the state by next week. We just have to wait and see which dispensaries will carry Deftones’ new “Passenger Box.’

To give fans a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of the new ‘Passenger Box,’ the band shared an unboxing video with lead guitarist and cannabis enthusiast Stephen Carpenter.

The video shows Carpenter thoroughly dissecting each product in the ‘Passenger Box’ collection, and he gives his expertise on why the collection’s cannabis is nothing but pure and potent quality.
