Singer-songwriter Alicia Keys was the latest guest to appear on the famous REVOLT series, Drink Champs, where hosts and rappers N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN ask burning questions to celebrity guests. 

To help loosen guests up and make them feel cool, calm, and collected, N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN will offer them an array of liquor and cannabis, hopefully helping guests open up about their interesting experiences. 

Many were surprised to see Alicia Keys take part in sipping on some jalapeno-flavored tequila. Even more surprising was her eagerness to spark a blunt on the set. 

The 2-hour video was published on YouTube on Saturday, December 11, where fans see the renowned recording artist, known for holistic beauty rituals and zen lifestyle in addition to her music, smoke a Drink Champs blunt, which had never been done on the show. 

N.O.R.E. told Keys that she was the “first one to ever smoke [a blunt] on Smoke Champs.” When rapper/producer Kanye West guest-starred on Drink Champs before Keys, he was seen smoking the Drink Champs blunt prototype, but Ye’s conversation with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN was a bit long-winded, if you will. 

As Keys began to reach for the Drink Champ’s blunt package and slowly tear it open, the crew began to cheer her one while N.O.R.E. quickly lit a blunt for himself. The room hyped her up as Keys sparked the blunt with poise and a certain gleam in her eye.

While N.O.R.E. continued to ask if the rumors were true, if Keys is a “big-time smoker,” she slyly puffed away with a few ghost inhales and a happy, high grin. Later, N.O.R.E. asked Keys if she would ever consider making a reggae album, to which she answered, “There’s such a soul there. There’s such an energy there.”

There are so many songs that Keys has that are “natural,” and she thinks a “reggae record would be a zone for [her].” When N.O.R.E. asked if she would consider changing her name, as Snoop did with Snoop Lion, she closed the interview by commenting that she would definitely change it to Alicia Panther.
