The old saying goes that dogs look like their owners, but what’s even funnier is when a pooch resembles a famous celebrity. From their personality traits to facial expressions, these uncanny similarities between dogs and celebrities are pretty hilarious. 

These dogs all resemble the oddest bunch of celebrities, from Vladimir Putin to Clint Eastwood and Peter Dinklage. Thanks to Joaquim Campa (@joaquimcampa) on Twitter, we were able to find a solid mid-week hump day pick-me-up with these humorous pups. 

Glancing at these photos is rather eerie in a way; all of these dogs have one thing in common, they look like a human trapped inside a dog’s body. Whatever the case may be, these dogs look like a weird case of non-human doppelgängers, and it’s equally as funny as it is perplexing. 

Our favorites from the list below were definitely Snoop Dogg, Whoopi Goldberg, Peter Dinklage, Clint Eastwood, and Zach Galifianakis. There’s something about Dinklage’s doppelgänger dog that feels like we’re staring into the eyes of the actor himself. Not to mention Galifianakis’ comparison, the round face, puffy hair, and bright eyes are enough to make us believe we’re watching a k9 version of Between Two Ferns.

And then, there’s white-haired entrepreneur, investor, and author Richard Branson who’s counterpart pup looks far too much like him. On the top of the list lies Grease superstar John Travolta, whose counterpart doggo’s square face, bright eyes, and big mouth look oddly familiar.
