Make a day for yourself and your pup with these off-leash dog parks.

This 1.25-acre off-leash play space gives your pup all the freedom they need. There’s also a separate area for large and small dogs; both come with great views and allow you to chat with some of the city’s most welcoming hippies (who just might share some of their weed with you).

Location: 1850 Silver Lake Drive

Your big doggo will adore the 2.5 acres of off-leash play space, and your little pup will definitely appreciate the grassy 1-acre off-leash area. The park is protected by a double fence and invites owners to sit at the picnic tables in the isolated shade. It also comes with water stations for you and your furry friend.

Location: 3026 E. Orange Grove Blvd.

Celebrity sightings are relatively common at this dog park. It holds the largest fenced-in play space with about 5 acres and offers separate areas for large and small dogs. It must be said that rattlesnakes and coyotes might make their way in the park at dusk and dawn, so be on the lookout.

This fenced-in off-leash park comes in at 1.3 acres but is mostly geared towards smaller and senior dogs. This quiet park has a mud-free play yard and lots of tree shade. The park encourages you to BYOB; bring your own (poop) bags!

Location: 5568 Via Marisol Ave.

This 1-acre dusty gravel off-leash dog park might be a little messy, but you can ensure that there won’t be any fleas roaming the yard. It has ample parking and water fountains available, and it’s also open until 10 pm with overhead lighting.

Location: 3160 N. Canyon Drive
